Nobeoka for a couple of days…En City Hotel

Last night we camped at Shimada Beach (located on the map where you see a red circle and it says, You are here). The beaches are pristine with a wonderful surf. This beach and Sumie have received awards for their beauty and swimming.

There is always soft serve available. Barry took a risk and ordered the pale blue (Soda flavour). He quickly ordered another vanilla one like mine. It is very rare for Barry not to finish a cone.

Then we had supper at Ringer Hut. They specialize in Champon noodles that originated in Nagasaki. We ordered extra vegetables.

Champon noodles are ramen noodles that are boiled in the soup. Regular ramen noodles are cooked and then added to the soup. The gyozas were delicious.
