Villa O Higgins 3

There was plenty of time to listen to podcasts and read today as it was a wet miserable day. Marc looked out and said "this is just what winter is like in Belgium"

Around midday, it wasn't raining as much and inspired by Grace washing her bike, I thought the Kona might as well get a wash too, so I borrowed the basin she had used and with some washing up liquid and a sponge from the kitchen, set to work lavering the frame with soupy water. It was a good way of countering the bordom of a rainy day.

Time for a wash. Grace's spotlessly clean Trek on the right.

Early afternoon, we all got messages telling us the boat onwards might sail early Friday morning, which isn't long now. Hopefully, it isn't raining like today, as boarding a boat involves a lot of standing around, shivering if its cold and wet.

The bivouac is taking a rest too. It is hung up underneath the veranda while it's owner sleeps in the hostel tonight.
