Convalescence in Perito Moreno
Hotel Americano at the equivalent of £39 is a bit over budget for me, but then I spent nothing on both Sunday and Monday, so it averages out. The room is comfortable, which I've used as an office while I got on top of updating the journal. And there's a good restuarant, wherein is served a buffet breakfast and in the evening its good to relax over a meal and good wine while people watching as most tables are seated by trail worn Patagonian tourists with Brazilian Portugese on one side and posh English on the other side of me.
Perito Moreno is not a place on the way to somewhere esle, but far from it; being the closest town to the world renowned "Cueva de Los Manos" cave were there are prehistoric hand prints and paintings of animals, its a base for visitors wirh half a dozen good hotels and good tourist infrastructure.
With it being calm today I kind of regret not cycling, but tomorrow I hope to make up for it by getting out early.
