I live in Portland, Oregon but grew up in Montana. 

Burning up the sidewalk in my Easter dress.

I have two amazing kids who are all grown up now with wonderful partners.

My kids standing in front of the universe.

We have two beautiful twin granddaughters that were born in February 2020.

Arie and Eloise, who love reading as much as their Oma does.
And we have a grandson, Misha, who was born in February 2022. He's the happiest human I've ever met.

I live with a goofball named Bruce, who took me on a trip to SE Asia in 2002 and got me hooked.

It's been great to turn over most of the cooking to him.

We ride Bike Friday folding bikes made in Eugene, Oregon. 

Five bicycle trips (as of February 2024), five countries, 7200 miles (11587 km) ridden, plus boats, planes, trains, buses, trucks, minivans, ferries, taxis, and tuk-tuks to fill in the gaps.
