Is it just me?

Brent Irvine

I haven't been able to access CB for the past two days. Internet issue for me or did others have the same problem?

We have periodically encountered difficulties accessing the site, usually involving getting error messages. There seems to have been recent issues with bots crawling the site and  overwhelming it. This may be your problem. Have you tried reaching out to Jeff directly?

Hi Brent - I don't know if it's just you, but I haven't had any problems accessing the site recently.  Just one sample point...

It's all fine now. Maybe trouble was linked to the widespread issues online.

I would have to guess that this was caused by the recent Amazon Web Services issue.

Nothing exceptional, guys -- I had to coin an acronym for such occasions: it's just another WUDiP (Weird Unexplained Digital Problem).  The collective, or the widespread practice, is WUDiPery.  I mention this to Tech/Customer Support people (with whom I speak far too often) & they laugh.  I tell 'em it's not copyrighted.  😉

I can reach the site on my cell phone, but I can't on my computer. On my computer I get a message saying "This page isn't working right now,   www.cycleblaze.com redirected you too many times. Try deleting cookies for this site"  It’s been that way for several days now.

There is definitely some problem going on. I can access using Safari on my iPad or Chrome on my laptop, but get that same redirect error using Edge on the laptop.

Yes, I'm having problems also. My understanding is that the website was being hit hard by AI-related search engines recently, so Jeff Arnim made some adjustments to the Cloudflare settings to help fix it. (Cloudflare is a widely used reverse proxy service. It sits between web traffic, including those AI bots, and the website itself to prevent the site from being hammered by heavy traffic.)

Those recent changes seem to have broken things for me on some of my browsers and devices, but not others. To fix the problem, you're supposed to clear your cache, cookies, etc., but I've done that multiple times, and it's still broken for me.
