A hike in Nature Valley

Today we completed a 10km challenging hike rather than cycle.  We climbed up a steep rocky trail to the top of a ridge for a great view of the river mouth as it met the ocean.  The way down was much gentler until we reach the coast where we had to scramble over some serious rocks.  It was a great hike and much longer and challenging than my last time here.  I earned my pizza and beer at lunch.

The internet is good today so I am caught up.

The beach in one direction this morning about 6. Clearly cloudy and it actually started to rain while I was out there.

Some serious climbs up rocks. We found a walking stick for me to help with the big step ups.

Robert was my Sherpa on some of the really big step and steep sections to make sure I didn’t fall or hold everyone up.
