The journey stated with an 11:30 AM taxi to the VF airport for my flight to Johannesburg. Once there I have 5 hour wait for my flight to Istanbul. That flight is 10 hrs long and followed by a 9.5hr layover in Istanbul. The final leg to only Vancouver is  12.5 hrs. I am not booked through to the island so I overnight at the YVR airport before flying to YYJ @10 on November 26. The moral of the story it is a long, long way to Southern Africa from the west coast of Canada. Forty hours in total just to get to Vancouver. I am so grateful for Murray finding a good deal on BC flights. 

This was my second trip to SA and it was just a much fun and interesting as my first.  Victoria Falls and Chobe NP we new so that added to the trip.  Africa is an amazing place that everyone should see at least once.   The people are lovely and the scenery is spectacular.  I am already thinking about another, perhaps Kenya or Tanzania.  That’s all for now except to thanks to everyone on our you all made is extra special with a particular thanks to my fellow Canadians.  Until next time.
