Oh yeah. We saw trucks going on this bridge. No problem. I didn't like the nails sticking up though. After we rode it a couple of times I started walking my bike.
18 hours agoI think this is what it is. Fungus Root! In flower, which it was, the description said its odor resembles that of mice! I should have gotten down to sniff it.

18 hours agoI'm probably never hydrated enough. But I think I have figured out how to prevent heat stroke (I hope). 7-Eleven sells electrolyte packets for only 15 cents apiece. I put one in my water bottle everyday. So far, that has done the trick. Drinking coconut water is also very important but we don't do enough of that for some reason.
18 hours agoIt would be very cool to be with you and Jeff when you visit here. You definitely should, even if you don't take us along. We now know where you can stay because it's so close to the trailhead.

Good thing I just listened to a talk about non-fear the other day ...
This place was nearly impossible to give appropriate dimension in a photograph without including a human element.
