Cheney WA to Coeur d'Alene Idaho

Elevation gain: 1,152 feet

The first day of the trip was almost entirely on old rail beds turned into beautiful, paved bike trails. We started on the Fish Lake bike trail by Cheney, which took us most of the way to Spokane. After riding streets for a short while, we were onto the Centennial trail which goes from Spokane to Coeur d’Alene. All in all, a great day of flat and sometimes scenic, bike trails.

No Moose sightings. We did see a turtle.

If they moved the tree, you would see that the bridge says North Idaho Centennial Trail, which we were riding on.
