Walked the Appalachian Trail from Maine down to Eaton, Tennessee in 2016/2017. 

Purchased bikes in Johnson City Tennessee

Cycled part of the Southern Tier in 2016/2017 including the Nachez Trace from Tennessee, where my friend lives to Austin Texas, then returned to Los Angeles, via train and back to Perth Western Australia.

Supporter of WarmShowers for cyclists, we stayed with new friends in the US and have had cyclists and backpackers stay with us in Western Australia to commence their journeys.
